Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Charlestown, IN. The PT will evaluate and develop a plan of care for varied patient populations in an acute care setting while coordinating with the medical team.

Immediate opening with 1 year of experience; 6 months may be considered for exceptional backgrounds. The role entails supervising PTAs, billing per setting guidelines, and ensuring compliance with state boards.

Qualifications

• 1 year of PT experience required; 6 months may be accepted for exceptional candidates.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the respective setting following facility guidelines.
• Interface with physicians to ensure a team-based plan of care.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify as indicated.
• Document per state and insurance guidelines.
