Job summary

The Beck Group in Midland, TX seeks a Project Engineer to support a travel-heavy assignment on a major construction project. You will assist with administration, procurement, RFI logs, submittals, and closeout documentation under supervision of a Senior Project Engineer.

Ideal candidates have 0-2 years construction experience or a related degree and are eager to collaborate, learn, and apply BIM/PM tools such as Procore and Revit, with travel to multiple sites across the region.

Qualifications

• ,0-2 years of relevant construction experience
• College degree or related field
• Internship in architecture or commercial construction preferred
• Fundamental understanding of project documents
• Ability to use Excel, Procore, Bluebeam or similar tools is a plus

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, maintain, and understand construction drawings, specs, and docs
• Develop and maintain submittal logs, RFIs, meeting minutes, and as-built drawings
• Review and expedite shop drawings and submittals
• Assist with project setup in project management software
• Support closeout documentation and safety compliance
