Job summary

The Beck Group in Austin is seeking a Project Engineer to join an extraordinary project team. While this is an entry level role, you will be involved in many facets of construction with the ability to evolve our existing operations.

As the Project Engineer you will help your project team with administration and documentation of the construction project including procurement of materials, identifying subcontract scope gaps, pricing change orders, quality management, and punch list maintenance.

Qualifications

• College degree in a related field or equivalent construction experience.
• Strong understanding of building construction and project documents.
• Interest in integrated project delivery and process improvement.
• Willingness to learn and be mentored by project leadership.
• Ability to use Excel, Procore, Bluebeam, Egnyte, CMiC and Revit or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, maintain, and understand construction drawings, specs and documents.
• Develop and maintain Submittal Logs, Specification Logs, RFIs and minutes.
• Review and expedite shop drawings and submittals.
• Utilize project management software for project setup and documentation.
• Assist in obtaining project closeout documentation.
• Follow Beck safety standards and collaborate with the team.
