Job summary

Beck Group in Dallas is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer to support a dedicated project team. You will assist with administration, documentation, procurement, and coordination across trades under supervision.

You will develop logs, review shop drawings, assist with closeout documentation, and ensure safety standards are followed. A college degree or relevant field experience is required, plus proficiency with Excel and common construction software.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of relevant construction experience or equivalent
• College graduate with a relevant degree or equivalent field experience
• Familiarity with construction documents and industry software preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, maintain, and understand construction drawings, specs, and project documents
• Develop and maintain submittal logs, specification logs, RFI logs, and meeting minutes
• Review and expedite shop drawings and submittals; assist in project closeout documentation
• Utilize project management software for project setup and collaboration
• Support in enforcing safety standards and site policies
