Job summary

Brinkmann Constructors is seeking a Project Engineer to assist the Project Manager across construction projects. You will help manage safety, cost estimation, schedule management, and quality control while traveling to project sites nationwide.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 1 year of construction experience, with proficiency in Procore, P6, MS Office, and SharePoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Civil, Architectural or Construction), construction management or related field required.
• 1+ years' experience in construction.
• Proficiency with Procore, P6, Microsoft Office suite, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Execute and enforce safety standards on site; conduct weekly safety inspections and audits.
• Support preconstruction estimating and takeoff; assist in cost and duration estimation.
• Assist in bid proposals, subcontracts, and procurement coordination.
• Prepare permit applications and ensure necessary licenses.
• Coordinate material and equipment procurement and expediting.
• Maintain project documentation; generate RFI responses, submittal logs, and change orders.
• Track project progress and support the Project Manager in daily management.
