Applegreen (US) Welcome Centers is seeking a General Manager for a QSR inside a travel plaza along a major highway. You will oversee daily operations and lead a dedicated team to meet profitability and service goals.

You will manage budgets, ensure food safety and brand standards, and drive customer satisfaction while coordinating with brand partners and internal teams to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years as supervisor or unit manager in a quick service restaurant.
• Available to work a flexible on-site schedule ~50 hours/week.
• Stand and walk for extended periods; lift at least 20 pounds.
• Strong knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day QSR operations to meet sales, speed, customer satisfaction.
• Maintain budgets, inventory, labor costs, and gross profit.
• Ensure brand standards and food safety compliance.
• Foster a culture of learning, development, and recognition.
• Recruit, train, and retain a strong team.
• Collaborate with Brand Partners, HR, Loss Prevention, Finance, and Facilities.
• Resolve customer issues professionally and timely.
