Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking a General Manager for a QSR inside a travel plaza on a major highway. You will lead a dedicated team, oversee daily operations, manage profitability, ensure brand standards, and drive customer satisfaction while controlling budgets and food safety.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on supervision, and a focus on developing staff within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2+ years as a supervisor or unit-level manager in a quick service restaurant.
• Flexible on-site schedule ~50 hours per week including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of associates and managers to achieve sales, speed, customer satisfaction and food quality standards.
• Maintain budgets, inventory controls, food and labor costs, gross profit and reporting.
• Ensure QSR meets brand standards and food safety requirements.
• Foster a learning, development and recognition culture.
• Recruit, develop and retain a strong team and appropriate staffing levels.
• Oversee hiring, coaching, training, promotions, disciplinary actions and transfers.
