Applegreen USA Welcome Centers is seeking a General Manager for a Quick Service Restaurant inside a travel plaza on a major highway in the United States. You will lead daily operations, drive profitability, and manage a dedicated team to meet or exceed sales, speed, quality, and safety targets.

You will oversee budgets, staffing, training, and performance, while ensuring brand standards and customer satisfaction. A flexible, on-site schedule averaging around 50 hours weekly is required.

Qualifications

• Lead a team in a fast-paced QSR environment.
• Demonstrate team management, delegation and issue resolution.
• Drive profitable growth while improving satisfaction.
• Familiarity with cash handling and brand standards.
• ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the QSR within a travel plaza.
• Manage budgets, inventory, labor costs and gross profit.
• Ensure brand standards and food safety requirements are met.
• Foster learning, development, and recognition for staff.
• Recruit, train, coach, and retain the QSR team.
• Hire, discipline, promote, and transfer team members.
• Enforce cash handling policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
• Address customer needs and resolve issues promptly.
• Collaborate with Brand Partners, HR, Loss Prevention, Finance, and Facilities.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and communities.
