Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare seeks a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week LTAC travel assignment in Santa Fe, NM. Start date is 10/19/2026 with a 35-hour work week and a daily shift from 08:00 to 16:30 in a skilled nursing setting.

You will support PT supervision, implement treatment plans, document progress, and ensure safety and infection control while coordinating with the rehab team. Housing and recruiter support provided.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in New Mexico or eligibility
• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
• Ability to work in a long-term acute care / skilled nursing setting
• Available to start on 10/19/2026 and commit to a 13-week assignment
• Ability to work the scheduled shift (08:00–16:30, five days per week)

Responsibilities

• Deliver Physical Therapy Assistant services under licensed PT supervision; implement and monitor treatment plans
• Administer prescribed exercises and modalities; assist with mobility training and transfers
• Monitor and document patient progress; adjust interventions as outlined in the plan of care
• Maintain accurate patient records and communicate changes to the rehab team; ensure patient safety and infection control
• Manage equipment and supplies; support daily operations and safety checks
