to 4:30 p.m., five days per week in a skilled nursing facility with LTAC rehabilitation. You will provide PTA services under a licensed PT, perform therapeutic exercises, monitor progress, document care, and collaborate with nursing and therapy staff.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in California.
• Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• 1+ year PTA experience in rehabilitation; LTAC/SNF settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy assistant services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist in a LTAC/Skilled Nursing setting.
• Perform therapeutic exercises, gait training, mobility activities, and functional training to restore and maintain patient function.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjust treatment plans within scope of practice, and communicate changes to supervising PT and care team.
• Assist with transfers, device training, ADLs, and safety precautions; ensure proper use of equipment and safe patient handling.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, collaborate with nursing and therapy staff, and ensure accurate, timely documentation in patient records.
• Adhere to infection control standards and facility policies, maintain clinical competency, and comply with regulations.
