Healthforce Healthcare LLC is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant in Hayward, CA for a 13-week LTAC travel assignment starting 11/09/2026. The role offers 35 guaranteed hours per week with a weekly pay of $1,445–$1,488, and shifts from 08:00–16:30.

Responsibilities include therapeutic exercises, gait training, ROM, mobility facilitation, ADL training, and accurate charting. Travel and housing support, fast credentialing, and extension opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Active California Physical Therapy Assistant license or eligible for licensure.
• Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Ability to work in a long-term care setting and participate in a travel assignment.

• Implement prescribed PTA interventions under licensed PT supervision, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, ROM, and mobility facilitation.
• Support patient mobility and functional independence through targeted activities and ADL training.
• Assist with patient assessments, document progress, and communicate changes to the supervising PT.
• Maintain accurate charting and timely documentation, ensuring regulatory and facility standards are met.
• Promote patient safety and proper body mechanics, with adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to adjust plans of care and address patient needs.
