Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel assignment in Ennis, Texas. Start date is 10/05/2026 for 13 weeks, with 36 hours guaranteed per week on a day shift in a LTAC nursing home setting.

Responsibilities include providing PTA services under supervision of a licensed PT, executing treatment plans, assisting with ADLs, and ensuring patient safety and progress documentation. LTAC or skilled nursing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment; ensure proper equipment setup and infection control
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other disciplines to support comprehensive patient care

Requirements

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in Texas
• Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting
• Experience in a LTAC or skilled nursing environment preferred
• Ability to work the day shift and travel for a 13-week assignment
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
