HealthForce Healthcare is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for a LTAC/SNF travel assignment in Bedford, NH. The assignment runs 13 weeks starting 11/16/2026 with 35 guaranteed hours per week and a 5x8 daytime shift (08:00–16:30).

You will work under a licensed PT, implement treatment plans, document progress, and assist with education and discharge planning. NH licensure required or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant license or eligibility to practice in NH.
• Graduation from an accredited PTA program.
• Ability to work a day shift (08:00–16:30) in LTAC/SNF.
• Availability to commit to a 13-week travel assignment starting 11/16/2026 with 35 guaranteed hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide PTA support under supervision of a licensed PT in LTAC/SNF setting.
• Implement and adjust treatment plans, including exercises, gait training, transfers, ROM, and modalities as directed.
• Monitor patient response, document progress, and communicate changes to supervising PT.
• Assist with patient/family education, safety during mobility, and ADL goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely charting, ensuring HIPAA compliance.
• Support discharge planning and caregiver education as appropriate.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited PTA program
