Job summary

TotalMed Allied in Willits, California is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment with 40 hours per week. Immediate opening; candidates should have 6 months of PT experience (1 year preferred) and California state licensure or eligibility.

The PT will evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care in an acute setting, supervise PTAs, bill within the facility, and collaborate with center staff to ensure an effective, team-based care plan.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of PT experience; 1 year preferred, 6 months may be accepted with appropriate background.
• BLS certification and state licensure required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods; knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the respective setting following facility guidelines.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-based plan of care.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify plan as indicated based on patient condition.
• Use Medical Center computer systems and document per state/insurance guidelines.
