Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Fairfield, California. The PT will evaluate and develop a plan of care for diverse patient populations in the acute care setting, with supervision of PTAs and collaboration with hospital staff.

Candidates should have 1 year of PT experience (6 months may be accepted for exceptional cases), BLS, and a CA license. The 13-week travel assignment offers 40 hours per week, days shifts, and a tax-free stipend as applicable.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience required; 6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates.
• BLS and state-specific licensing required.
• Good knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the respective setting following facility guidelines.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel to ensure a team-based plan of care.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify as patient condition changes.
• Use Medical Center computer systems and document per guidelines.
