Healthforce is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient travel assignment in Willits, CA. The 13-week engagement begins 09/21/2026, with 40 hours per week and days schedule.

Travel support and housing assistance are provided as part of the assignment, with extension opportunities. Responsibilities include evaluating and planning PT interventions, teamwork with an interdisciplinary care team, and ensuring outcomes are documented and aligned with clinical goals.

Qualifications

• Current California physical therapy license or eligibility for licensure.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week in a 5x8 day schedule.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills for interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct segments of treatment programs designed to restore and improve physical, social and mental functions.
• Serve as co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient groups.
• Assess patients, establish goals, and implement PT interventions (e.g., therapeutic exercise, gait training, manual therapy, modalities) for an outpatient context.
• Monitor progress, document outcomes, and communicate findings to the care team.
• Adjust treatment plans based on patient response and department objectives.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to regulatory and quality standards.
