Job summary

Apex Home Health, Hospice & Home Care in Spokane, WA is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients to improve mobility and reduce pain.

You will create personalized treatment plans, operate therapy equipment, monitor progress, document outcomes, and collaborate with a healthcare team while adhering to safety standards and pursuing ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Valid state license and current BLS certification.
• Strong clinical, communication, critical thinking and interpersonal skills.
• Must have physical abilities to move equipment and assist patients and sensory skills for effective communication. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and create/adjust therapy plans.
• Operate and maintain therapy equipment as required.
• Monitor patient progress and document outcomes.
• Coordinate with the healthcare team and communicate with other professionals.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, home programs and safety.
• Ensure safety standards and adherence to protocols.
• Participate in quality and discharge planning activities.
