Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients in hospital and clinic settings across Indiana. You will design personalized rehabilitation plans using evidence-based techniques and collaborate with care teams to optimize outcomes.

The role requires an active physical therapy license and current BLS, with strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Role:

A travel Physical Therapist (PT) evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life. They create personalized, evidence-based treatment plans using manual therapy and exercise techniques, working in settings such as hospitals and clinics.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate patients’ physical conditions, develop and implement tailored rehabilitation programs, operate therapy equipment, assess progress, and document outcomes. Collaborate with healthcare teams, educate patients and caregivers, ensure a safe environment, and participate in discharge planning and quality initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Valid physical therapy license, current BLS certification, strong clinical, communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills. Physical abilities include lifting, moving equipment, and maintaining safety standards. Must work effectively under supervision and handle irregular activity schedules.
