• Document evaluations, reports and discharge summaries in EMR.
• Coordinate with physicians and staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain HIPAA and OSHA compliance.
• Assist with PT billing including Medicare, workers' comp, and private pay.
• Use DX and ICD-10 coding for billing purposes.

• Proficient computer skills including EMR, Word, and Internet use
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with patient transfers and mobility
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain mobile for 8-10 hour shifts

Responsibilities

• Outpatient/rehabilitation clinic setting
• Days shift, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week
• 13-week assignment
• Evaluate and treat patients for physical therapy and rehabilitation programs
• Supervise PT Assistants and Aides regarding all aspects of patient care
• Document patient evaluations, reports, and discharge summaries using EMR
• Communicate with physicians and staff to ensure quality patient care
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and OSHA policies and procedures
• Assist with PT billing processes including Medicare, workers comp, and private pay
• Be proficient in DX and ICD-10 coding for billing purposes
• Work closely with front office staff on scheduling and patient follow-up
• No travel required for this position
