American Traveler is seeking an outpatient Physical Therapist with 1+ years of experience to join a collaborative rehabilitation team in a regional healthcare setting.

The role involves outpatient care, a standard 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule (36‑hour week possible with 9:00 AM start or 8:00 AM end), and a team of four PTs along with OTs and a speech therapist. The environment emphasizes patient-centered care and meaningful return-to-activity outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active state PT license required.
• License required if applicable.
• 1+ years of Physical Therapy experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Epic EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient setting only.
• Schedule is 8:00 AM-5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch; may adjust to 9:00 AM-5:00 PM or 8:00 AM-4:00 PM for a 36-hour week.
• 36-40 hours per week.
• Patient care includes 1-hour evaluations and 45-minute daily treatment sessions.
• Patient population focuses on orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, and work-related injuries.
• Referrals come from orthopedic surgeons, family practice providers, and the acute care team.
• Joins a collaborative rehabilitation team of four physical therapists, two occupational therapists, and a speech therapist.
• Position covers for a retiring PT at a regional healthcare provider serving a smaller community and surrounding towns.
