American Traveler LLC is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient rehabilitation clinic on California’s Central Coast. Active PT license and at least 1 year of outpatient experience are required.

The position involves 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week, with HIPAA/OSHA compliance and coordination with physicians for high-quality patient care. The role includes supervising PT Assistants, handling EMR documentation, and participating in billing tasks (Medicare, workers comp, private pay) using DX

Qualifications

• Active PT license required.
• Minimum 1 year PT experience in outpatient.
• Proficient with EMR, Word, and internet use.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate and treat patients in an outpatient rehabilitation setting.
• 8-hour days, 5 days per week, 13-week assignment.
• Supervise PT Assistants and Aides as needed.
• Document evaluations, reports and discharge summaries in EMR.
• Coordinate with physicians and staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain HIPAA and OSHA compliance.
• Assist with PT billing including Medicare, workers' comp, and private pay.
• Use DX and ICD-10 coding for billing purposes.
