Job summary

MedCadre seeks a dedicated Travel Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitation services across diverse clinical settings. You will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to improve mobility, reduce pain, and maximize independence.

The role requires a state PT license, current BLS, 1 year of PT experience, and EMR proficiency. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists, educate patients on home programs, and adapt

Qualifications

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent required.
Active Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.
Current BLS certification required.
Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of rehabilitation principles and functional mobility training.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and functional assessments.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals and patient goals.
Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, gait and balance training, and neuromuscular re-education.
Monitor progress and adjust plans to optimize outcomes.
Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
Utilize assistive devices, orthotics, and adaptive equipment as needed.
Maintain accurate EMR documentation and progress notes.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists as part of the care team.
Participate in discharge planning and care continuity.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and infection control protocols.
