Job summary

MedCadre seeks a compassionate Travel Physical Therapist to evaluate, develop, and implement individualized rehabilitation programs across diverse settings, aiming to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function while delivering patient-centered care.

The role requires a Doctor of Physical Therapy (or equivalent), an active PT license, and current BLS certification, with preferred 1 year of PT experience.

Qualifications

• DPT/MS/BS in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active PT license in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of recent Physical Therapy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and functional assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals and patient goals.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, gait training, balance training, transfer training, and mobility interventions.
• Assess and recommend assistive devices, orthotics, and adaptive equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans to optimize functional outcomes.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, injury prevention, body mechanics, and safe mobility techniques.
• Maintain accurate evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge documentation in the EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals.
