Job summary

MedCadre is seeking a skilled Travel Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitation services across healthcare settings. You will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions to improve mobility and independence while adapting to new clinical environments.

You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists, monitor progress, educate patients on home exercises, and ensure documentation in EMR.

Qualifications

• DPT or equivalent degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of recent Physical Therapy experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of rehabilitation principles, therapeutic exercise, and functional restoration.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and functional assessments.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel Physical Therapist (PT) to provide rehabilitation services across a variety of healthcare settings. The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions to improve mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and maximize independence while adapting quickly to new clinical environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and functional assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and physician referrals.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance training, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and functional mobility interventions.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, injury prevention, body mechanics, fall prevention, and safe mobility techniques.
• Recommend and train patients in the use of assistive devices, orthotics, prosthetics, and adaptive equipment.
• Maintain accurate evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in discharge planning and coordinate continuity of patient care.
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols, HIPAA regulations, patient safety standards, and facility policies.
• Adapt quickly to new facilities, workflows, and patient populations while maintaining exceptional patient care.

Required Qualifications:
