Job summary
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment at a facility in Atmore, Alabama. 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, travel oriented role with competitive pay and benefits. Start date 10/19/2026.
New grads welcome; license and BLS required. You will evaluate and treat patients to improve mobility and reduce pain, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and educating patients on home programs.
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid Physical Therapy license in AL compliance with state regulations.
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
- New grads welcome to apply.
- Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests and history to identify functional limitations.
- Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
- Implement PT treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
- Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in medical records.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies.
