Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Alpena, Michigan. The role offers 40 hours per week, daytime shifts, and travel benefits as part of a comprehensive package.

The ideal candidate holds a valid PT license, BLS certification, and may have a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. New grads welcome; experience preferred. Position involves evaluating and treating patients across hospitals and clinics with emphasis on safe, evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions to identify functional limitations and treatment needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
• Implement therapy plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and self-management strategies.
• Maintain infection control and safety protocols during therapy sessions.
