Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Anchorage, AK. This role offers 40 hours per week with an 8-hour shift, and a chance to treat patients in hospital, clinic, or rehab settings.

You will evaluate, diagnose, and implement therapy plans, collaborating with physicians and nurses to optimize outcomes. The position emphasizes evidence-based care and patient safety in varied environments.

Qualifications

• License to practice Physical Therapy in applicable state
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical conditions using tests and history to identify needs
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments
• Implement therapy plans to improve mobility and reduce pain
• Operate therapy equipment safely and maintain devices
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety
• Maintain infection control and safety standards during therapy
• Engage in quality assurance and professional development
• Assist with discharge planning for continuity of care
