Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Physical Therapist for an immediate travel assignment in Alpena, MI. This 13‑week, 40‑hour-per-week position offers dayshift hours in an acute care setting with on-site duties.

The PT will evaluate patients, develop and execute a plan of care, supervise PTAs, and coordinate with physicians to ensure a team-based approach. New grads are welcome; 1 year experience preferred; BLS and state licensure required. Tax-free stipends and travel benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads encouraged to apply.
• BLS and state-specific licensing required.
• Able to stand/walk long periods; knowledge of anatomy and physiology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop a plan of care for patient populations in acute care.
• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff; assist with staffing.
• Bill within setting guidelines and document per state/insurance rules.
• Interface with medical center staff to ensure team-based care.
