Job summary

TotalMed Allied has an exciting travel Physical Therapist opening in West Orange, NJ for a 13-week assignment. You will evaluate patients, develop and execute a plan of care for diverse populations in an acute care setting, with 40 hours per week and dayshift.

Requirements include at least 6 months of PT experience (1 year preferred), BLS, and an active state license. You will collaborate with physicians and staff, document per guidelines, and adapt plans as patient needs evolve.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist with current state license.
• BLS certification required for this travel assignment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within facility guidelines and settings.
• Comply with state PT board rules and regulations.
• Interface with Medical Center staff and physicians on the plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment and devices used in therapy.
• Evaluate patients and create a plan of care.
• Modify the plan of care as patient condition changes.
• Document accurately in hospital systems per guidelines.
