Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in West Orange, New Jersey. This travel role requires 40 hours per week, dayshift, and ongoing evaluation and care plan development for varied patient populations in an acute care setting.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of PT experience, with 6 months acceptable for exceptional candidates. BLS and additional certifications may be required prior to beginning assignments.

Qualifications

• 1 year of PT experience preferred; 6 months acceptable for exceptional candidates.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop a plan of care for diverse patient populations.
• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-focused plan of care.
• Document patient progress in accordance with state and facility guidelines.
