Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Pennington, NJ. The role requires 40 hours per week over 13 weeks, with days shifts and an immediate start. 1 year of PT experience preferred; exceptional candidates with 6 months may be considered.

BLS and state licensing are required. Responsibilities include evaluation and execution of care plans, supervising PTAs, and interfacing with center staff and physicians to ensure a team-based approach.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience; exceptional candidates with 6 months may be accepted.
• BLS and state-specific licensing required.
• PTs must be able to stand and walk for long periods; capable of bending, leaning or stooping.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting following facility guidelines
• Comply with state PT board rules and regulations
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-based plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems in daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation per state and/or insurance guidelines
