Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Bridgeton, New Jersey. The PT will evaluate patients, develop and execute a plan of care for acute care settings, supervising PTAs and therapy staff, and collaborating with physicians to ensure a team-based approach.

The position is 13 weeks long, 30 hours per week, with 8-hour day shifts. Must have at least 6 months of experience, or 1 year as preferred, plus BLS and state licensing.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop and execute a plan of care for diverse patient populations in the acute care setting.
• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians).
• Bill within the respective setting following facility guidelines.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-focused plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment and implement required modifications to the plan of care.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify as indicated by patient condition.
• Use Medical Center systems for daily tasks and document following state/insurer guidelines.
