Job summary

TotalMed Allied in Rocklin, CA is seeking a Physical Therapist for an immediate travel assignment. The PT will evaluate and develop a plan of care for diverse patient populations in the acute care setting, with about 40 hours per week over 13 weeks, and must have 1 year of experience (6 months for exceptional candidates) and BLS plus state licensing.

The role involves supervising PTAs and therapy staff, documenting per guidelines, coordinating with medical center staff, and adhering to board

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply.
• BLS and state-specific licensing.
• Physical Therapists should be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting.
• Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff and bill within the respective setting.
• Understand and apply PT board rules and state regulations; interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify plan of care as indicated.
• Use Medical Center computer systems and provide timely documentation following guidelines.
