Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in King City, California. The PT will evaluate, develop, and implement plans of care for diverse patient populations in an acute care setting.

Requirements include 6 months of experience (new grads considered), BLS, and state licensing. 13-week duration, 40 hours per week, rotating 8-hour shifts, and travel employment type.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.
• PTs must be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean or stoop.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
• TotalMed Allied requires 2 years experience

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop a plan of care for diverse patient populations in acute care.
• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within setting guidelines and ensure accurate documentation.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-based care.
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation per guidelines.
