Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Redding, California. The PT will evaluate and develop a plan of care for diverse patient populations in the acute care setting, with a 40-hour week and 10-hour daytime shifts.

Candidates should have 1 year of experience; exceptional candidates with 6 months may be considered. Must hold BLS and state licensing. Additional certifications may be required before starting the assignment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of PT experience; exceptional candidates with 6 months may be considered.
• BLS certification and state-specific licensure required.
• ARRT certification required. Additional certifications may be required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the respective setting following facility guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with state PT board rules and regulations.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians for a team-focused plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment and patient needs.
• Evaluate and create an individualized plan of care.
• Modify plan of care as patient condition changes.
• Use Medical Center systems to perform daily tasks.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation per state/insurance guidelines.
