Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an immediate opening in Apple Valley, CA. The PT will evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for diverse patient populations in an acute care setting.

Requirements include 6 months–1 year of experience, BLS, and state licensing. ABPTS certification may be required. Positions are travel, 13 weeks, with 40 hours weekly and 8-hour shifts during days.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience required; 6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates.
• BLS certification required.
• State license to practice as PT is required.
• ABPTS certification may be required by some postings.

Responsibilities

• Lead PTAs and support staff as needed.
• Bill according to facility guidelines.
• Comply with state PT board rules and regulations.
• Interface with Medical Center staff and physicians for team care.
• Understand adaptive equipment needs.
• Evaluate and modify plans of care as patient status changes.
• Utilize hospital systems for daily tasks and documentation.
