Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Damascus, MD. The PT will evaluate patients, develop and implement plans of care, and coordinate with physicians to ensure a team-based approach.

The position requires 1 year of PT experience (6 months may be acceptable for exceptional candidates), BLS, and state licensure. Travel assignments typically include 40 hours per week and 8-hour shifts across days.

Qualifications

• 1 year of PT experience required; exceptional candidates with 6 months may be considered.
• BLS certification and state-specific licensure are required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop a plan of care for patients.
• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the setting following facility guidelines.
• Collaborate with Medical Center personnel to ensure a team-based plan of care.
• Document timely and accurately per state/insurer guidelines.
• Understand and apply PT board rules for the respective state.
