Zusammenfassung

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Physical Therapist for an immediate opening in Carrollton, Virginia. 13-week assignment, 40 hours/week, days, 8-hour shifts. Requires BLS and state licensing; 1 year experience preferred, 6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates.

Focus on evaluation, plan of care development and execution in acute care. PT will oversee PTAs and therapy staff, bill per guidelines, coordinate with Medical Center staff, and document per state/insurer rules.

Aufgaben

• Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility
• Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective state
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines
