Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Physical Therapist for a 13‑week travel assignment in Indianapolis, IN. The PT will evaluate, develop, and execute plans of care for diverse patient populations in acute care, with 40 hours/week, days, and 8-hour shifts.

Must have 6 months of PT experience, BLS, and state licensure. Travel PTs supervise PTAs, coordinate with medical staff, and document according to guidelines. TotalMed Allied offers comprehensive benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of PT experience; new grads encouraged to apply.
• BLS certification and active state licensure required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods; strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the respective setting, following facility guidelines.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to coordinate a team-based plan of care.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify as patient condition changes.
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks.
• Provide timely, accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.
