Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Griffin, GA. The PT will evaluate and develop a plan of care for diverse patient populations in an acute care setting, with responsibilities including supervising staff and coordinating with medical teams.

The position requires BLS, state licensure, and at least 1 year of PT experience (6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates). 13-week duration, 40 hours per week, days shift, travel employment.

Qualifications

• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.
• 1 year of PT experience required; 6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the facility following guidelines.
• Follow the PT board rules and state regulations.
• Interface withMedical Center personnel and physicians for a team plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment and utilization.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify as patient needs change.
• Use hospital computer systems for daily tasks.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation per guidelines.
