Job summary

TotalMed Allied in Norcross, GA seeks a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment with 40 hours per week for 13 weeks. The role involves evaluating patients, developing and executing a plan of care, and coordinating with medical staff in an acute care setting.

Requirements include 6 months of experience (6 months accepted for exceptional candidates), a BLS certification, and state-specific licensing. Travel PT duties include supervising staff, documentation, and adhering to regulations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff.
• Bill within the respective setting following facility guidelines.
• Comply with the PT board's rules and state regulations.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-based plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment and evaluate plan of care.
• Modify plan of care as patient condition dictates.
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation per state/insurance guidelines.
