Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Monroe, Georgia. The position requires 40 hours per week, with day shifts and the ability to work in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing and executing care plans, supervising PTAs, billing, and ensuring compliance with state rules. Applicants should have 1 year of PT experience (6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates) and current BLS and licensing.

Qualifications

• 1 year of PT experience preferred; 6 months may be accepted.
• BLS certification and state-specific licensing required.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for patients in acute care.
• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff.
• Bill within the setting following facility guidelines.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel to ensure team-based care.
• Understand adaptive equipment and modify plans of care as needed.
• Utilize hospital computer systems and document per guidelines.
