Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an immediate opening in Dacula, GA. The PT will evaluate patients, develop a plan of care, and work with medical center staff to implement team-based treatment.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of experience, holds BLS and state licensing, and can stand for long periods while performing therapy. Travel with a 13-week contract is available with weekly hours and stipend details provided by TotalMed Allied.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads are encouraged to apply.
• BLS certification and state-specific licensing required.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods; comfortable with bending and stooping.
• Solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and create a plan of care for diverse patient populations in acute care.
• Oversee PTAs and therapy support staff; collaborate with physicians and center staff.
• Bill within the facility guidelines and document in EMR per state regulations.
• Modify plan of care as patient condition changes and track progress.
