Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist in Gurnee, IL for a 3-month contract. Onsite role requiring travel between Patient Service Centers and in-office locations with minimal notice.

The PSR II responsibilities include patient interaction, blood collection, and accurate specimen preparation following established procedures. The candidate should have 1–3 years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
• Verify patient demographic info / initials including patient signature post-venipuncture to ensure correct labeling.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public.
