Job summary

Talentify is recruiting a Phlebotomist II for an on-site role in Elgin, IL. You will draw quality blood samples, prepare specimens for lab testing, and interact with patients with professionalism and care. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years phlebotomy experience, HS diploma, and certification preferred.

This contract position runs about 5 months with varying shifts and travel to multiple locations. Sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–3 years phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA/NV/WA.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform phlebotomy and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
• Verify patient demographics and initials post-venipuncture to ensure correct labeling.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and present a positive image to patients and staff.
