Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy Technician Certification preferred; may be required for specific locations.
• HIPAA knowledge and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Draw blood cultures using aseptic technique.
• Process specimens for the main lab and satellite labs.
• Complete paperwork and labeling; ensure proper patient charge deletion.
• Communicate results to physicians and train new staff.
• Travel to satellite locations as needed.
