Job summary

Millennium Health is seeking a Full Time Female Specimen Collector Phlebotomist II to support observed collections of female patients. The role requires travel across multiple facilities with mileage reimbursement and a valid driver’s license.

Candidates should have phlebotomy credentials and customer service experience. The position involves collecting blood, urine, and oral fluid specimens, processing shipments, and coordinating between clinics and the laboratory while maintaining accurate

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified phlebotomist with 1+ year experience preferred; experience considered in place of certificate.
• 6+ months of specimen collector experience or 1+ years in medical field supporting patients preferred.
• 2+ years of customer service experience can be substituted for medical experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient blood, urine and/or oral fluid specimens.
• Process and package collections for shipping.
• Serve as intermediary between practice/clinic and laboratory.
• Record patient information and physician order details.
• Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information in ordering portal.
• Order and maintain collection supplies inventory onsite.
• Observe collection for Millennium Health specimens.
