Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a phlebotomist to perform specimen collections across various locations, ensuring accurate labeling and high-quality results. You will work independently in a fast-paced setting, with emphasis on patient experience and data accuracy.

Travel up to 75% within the assigned territory is required. Must have phlebotomy certification and a high school diploma, with strong communication and data entry skills.

Qualifications

• Two years of phlebotomy experience required.
• Phlebotomy certification required in CA, NV, WA and LA.
• English required; travel up to 75% of the time.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collections including venipuncture and capillary draws.
• Obtain patient identification and verify labeling accuracy; enter data as needed.
• Prepare specimens for transport and testing per test orders.
• Communicate procedures clearly; maintain a clean, welcoming collection area.
• Travel across PSCs and client offices within the territory; meet travel expectations.
