Job summary
San Carlos Apache Tribal facility seeks a pharmacist to process prescriptions, manage medications, dispense controlled substances, and counsel patients. You will support clinical teams across hospital and community settings.
The role requires a PharmD/BS, active AZ license (BLS), and flexibility for variable shifts. Experience with ScriptPro, Omnicell, and related tech is a plus in serving an underserved population.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and/or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
- Current BLS certification
- Current, active, unrestricted U.S. Pharmacy license (Arizona license preferred)
- Strong knowledge of current medications and pharmacy practices
- Ability to process prescriptions and controlled substances accurately and efficiently
- Ability to provide timely patient counseling
- Flexible and able to work variable shifts and adapt to departmental needs

Location: San Carlos, Arizona
Facility: Tribal 638 Healthcare Facility
Schedule: Variable shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
Call: None
Join a collaborative pharmacy team serving the San Carlos Apache community
Process approximately 1,000 prescriptions per day using advanced pharmacy technology
Work with ScriptPro Pharmacy Management System, SP200 Robot, Omnicell ADCs, Carousel, and Kirby Lester counting machines
Current EMR: RPMS, with transition to a new EHR underway
Provide prescription processing, medication management, controlled substance dispensing, and patient counseling
Support clinical teams throughout the hospital and community

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and/or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
Current BLS certification
