Job summary

San Carlos Apache Healthcare Center is seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist to join its collaborative pharmacy team. This role requires flexibility to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and ER/Inpatient coverage as needed.

The pharmacist will verify and dispense medications, process controlled substances in compliance with state and federal regulations, counsel patients, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and provide clinical pharmacy services while ensuring safe and timely

Qualifications

• ER/Inpatient pharmacist experience is strongly preferred.
• Must be flexible to work days, nights, swing shifts, weekends.
• Strong medication therapy knowledge and clinical judgment.
• Ability to verify and process prescriptions accurately and timely.
• Experience handling controlled substances per policy and law.
• Excellent patient counseling and communication.
• Reliable team player with a positive attitude and strong critical-thinking skills.

Required Credentials

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and/or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)

Basic Life Support (BLS)

ACLS required for inpatient/ER coverage

PALS required (may be completed on-site if needed)
